Is it possible to set up a hostname with more than one IP address ? I need to load share to a service which runs on a NT Server, what i would like to do his use one Hostname, which would then rotate between two or more IP addresses.

In short, yes. What you are referring to is round-robin DNS. In dns, you would have 2 IP's associated with one hostname. On the host, you would need to configure the host with 2 interfaces, whether virtual or not, that is up to you.

it looks as though all i need to do then is add two lines to DNS ie.

servername IN A ipaddress1
servername IN A ipaddress2
