rotate an object together with its color

i try to rotate an objeced after applying a gradiant to it, when i rotate the object i want that the filling will rotate together with the object.
it is possible?

as far as i know you can group two objects but not an object and its filling.

maybe i was not clear enougth, the question is:
i draw a rectangle 5mm width and 50mm high.
fill it with gradient (liniar from rigth to left, blac to white)
use transform -> rotate, 10 degrees jumps, apply to duplicate.
and see what happens.

Tried that in Corel version 11 -- and the fill is rotating along with the object.

Maybe other versions behave differently.
