Root Domain to redirect to virtual directory

Hi,

I need to make the URL of my site forward a virtual directory on the same site. Example:

http://www.happydays.net

forward to

http://www.happydays.net/sunyday

The difficutly bit I have is that the root domain needs to be accesible over port 80 (HTTP) but the forward site needs to go to port 443 (SSL).

At the moment the root domain is only accesible over 443 (SSL)

https://www.happydays.net

but this is causing confusion with the users so needs to be just a normal

http://www.happydays.net

and then forward through to an SSL site -

https://www.happydays.net/sunnyday.

Can anybidy help with this query. I know that if I take the SSL tick out of the default site it asks me about the sites below - What would I need to do.


Any help would be greatfully received.
