ROMMON - TFTPDNLD command not found

I just put some new DRAM and Flash into a 3640, booted to rommon> and set the parameters for IP address tftpserver etc. When I issue the the tftpdnld command I recieve a message that the command cannot be found.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?
XModem is deadly slow.

Yes, it shows in the documentation, but I don't have that menu item on my router????very wierd...

If you still have the old flash then why not configure the router to boot the ios from a tftp server, boot the router with new flash card installed, load IOS to flash, change router back to boot from flash and reload.

Per the instructions in the article that mainstreetexpress posted -

- this command is only available on a 2612 - I think the 3640's only option is xmodem.
