rollover question

I have three buttons. Three movie clips. The movie clips are all in the same place (same x y position). For the life of me I can't figure out how to rollover a button and have one movie clip come to the front and play, then rollover another button to have the next movie clip come to the front and play. etc. It's been driving me crazy for two days now. HELP!

I've been looking. I can find swap depths, but my movies need to fade in then out. I don't know where to put the STOP so they don't play until they are activated by the rollover.

What I'm trying to do is a mouse rollover on the links and the boxes fade in then out. When I'm done, these will be pictures of homes.

Is it just on this example, but your movie clips aren't all in the position, as you stated in your first post?

And shouldn't they all be invisible to start with, and just fade in & out on the rollover's?

i can figure all that out. This is my practice before I do the real thing. How do I get the buttons to make each individual colored box play the movie clip. Where does the stop go? Any anwser would be appreciated at this point.
