I want to roll an entire .net solution back to a date & can't see any way of doing it other than individual file by file which would take hours. And unfortunately the date I want to go back to doesn't have a label associated with it.

Is there any way I can do this?

Thanks

I don't have a solution for you question, just a word of warning when doing Rollbacks in SourceSafe.

If you rollback a shared file in SourceSafe, you will be performing an implicit branch. This means that SourceSafe will create a new file branched from the previously shared file and the new branched file will no longer be shared.

If SourceSafe is set up correctly, the GUI will provide a warning. If you use the command-line, the branching is done blindly.

You can't rollback in groups because SourceSafe doesn't take the assumption that all files are on the same version number.

i.e. Version 10 on file A may not be the same as Version 10 on file B
