Robotic deamon

We use Netbackup 4.5FP6 with w2k server and a media server get the error :
unable to connect to tldcd on B_server: cannot connect to robotic software daemon (42)

I install the drivers of the robotic library ( compaq MSL5026 ) but nothing.
I delete the robot from Netbackup and create it again but nothing! same error !!
I even change the robotic to a new one for hardware failure but htis is not the problem.
please any suggestion will be appreciated

Is this on your Master server or media server?

Are you sure the ltid,vmd,and tldd dameons/services are started?

Its a media server server on a different site.

The media starts the three services but in processes there are no ltid,vmd,and tldd present for the media server.

Hey I have this very same problem except on a unix platform. Please let me know if you were able to figure out why Netbackup is not connecting to the robotic device even though teh OS can see the device.
