Up until now all Desktop and Laptop users have had there profiles and files on there Computers.
Although I run scripts that create and map there files on a server, and direct there Word and Excel to open on the server.
The question is I want Laptop users [who have huge files on there Laptops due to Audit data] to have there files automatically copied over to the network. Most of them will keep these files either on there Desktop or MyDocs, which can be redirected.
Will this cause them not to have these documents on there computers when they leave the office /or does Offline files automatically come into play.
I also read the file screening is possible here to prevent movies and mp3's.
Anyone have suggestions on if this is worthwhile implementing. And how would DFS integrate?
