Roaming Profiles acting wierd!

Hi there,

Out of several hunderd users we have a small number who's roaming profiles are acting wierd.

For some reason a dirctory is being created under WINNT called Desktop. This contains an exact copy of their profile desktop directory. If I delete the desktop directory under WINNT its automatically re-created when the user logs back in. This becomes a problem when we push updates out to the users because their desktop icons (which are updated via a login script) are not being updated. Also their profiles are not being saved back to the server when they log off.

Any ideas??

Try getting a user to logon then when user is logged on connect using regedt32 open the hive and check the path for users desktop. Hey lets face it Microsoft isn;t exactly the best OS now is it? Njoy!
