How can I setup a roaming profile path via a group policy. Currently for the Profile Path, I typed the path to the network share where the user profile is to be stored. For example, for a user whose network name is JDoe, the following path, \\NetworkShare\Profiles$\%username%, would create a directory called JDoe in the Profiles share on the server used to store user profiles. I have this stored under the profile tab for the user account in active directory for users and computer.

So here is my question, instead of the method I just mention, can I set the path via group policy? I see you can set a Group Policy for a Terminal Services Profile. I'm not using terminal services but I would still like to do it that way. Is this possible?

no it needs to be set in the profile tab and can not be set by policy. The GPO does not accept variables so you can't use the %username% values.
