RO 9150 and RLC on Opt 61

Question of the day for the gurus:

I am trying to set up a remote office on my CS1KE, but I am having trouble getting the Configuration Manager connecting to either the RLC or the 9150. Every time I go to connect via serial in the Manager, it fails. HOWEVER, I am able to get in via hyperterm.
I looked at the manuals, but they tell you to re-check the connection when it fails in the Manager.

Is there something that I overlooked?

If you are using the same straight-thru cable for Hyperterm as you are for Configuration Manager, I would try to find another PC and serial port. If you are using a USB serial adapter, Configuration Manager may not be able to address non-standard seral ports (COM5 and higher). I have never had problems addressing 9150 units and RLC cards with a desktop PC and standard COM ports.

If you are still having problems, you may be able to manually set enough IP information using Hyperterm to attach via IP. Try using ? or HELP at the command line and you may be able to figure out what needs to be done in order to to get the IP addresses set.
