on our 500 type extensions if you look up RNPG it has a 1 or 2 etc for the group.

but an extension with type 2008 has

RNPG 9C 0039

can someone explain how to read this?
how does this differ from RNPG for a 500 type?

Could you post a TNB of each type.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

9c... did you pour water on the switch? that's one i have never seen.. does rngp work? do you have a lot of these?

i would think patch

It does sound like water on the switch. Or the terminal emulation does not know how to cipher that phone. I'd try entering a valid number at the RNPG prompt and then print it again.
