I'm trying to locate premanufactured (and tested) cables that are 1 pair terminated on an RJ11 mod plug that can be punched down on 66 or 110 block or 4 pair to 4 rj11 plugs but my internet search keywords must me off. Does anyone have a manufacturer and/or part number for this item. This is for modular telehpone system installation.

Thank you

Nothing that is very inexpensive, but the standard Merlin Splitter (Hubbell DMD04-26712DE about $14) comes to mind.
We also order from Express Cables when we need a specific product, like the NEC cable (4 pair USOC on 8 pin jack). Pull the lever on your chair to get as close to the floor as possible, becuase those prices are usually double :)

Express is at

I doubt you'll find many options for a single pair (true USOC RJ-11) pre-manufactured mod cord, but they're available in 4-conductor.

Try here These are 15' long, which would give you two 7 1/2' cords if your layout lets you halve them. If you only want to punch down the middle pair, just clip the other leads at the punch end. You could make them cheaper yourself and to custom lengths but at this price, they'd be pretty easy and convenient.

The important point is to be sure the wire is solid, not stranded. Do NOT try punching stranded wire onto any block! That's just asking for trouble.
