Hi,
I am trying to setup a RIS Server and I have done everything that was documented but I keep getting the error message:
The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers for your network adapter. Try selecting a different OS image. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. Setup can not continue. Press any key to exit
I an using Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet and I have edited the .inf file:
Original Revised
[Manufacturer] [Manufacturer]
%BRCM% = Broadcom, NTx86.5.1 %BRCM% = Broadcom
[ControlFlags] [ControlFlags]
ExcludeFromSelect = * ExcludeFromSelect = *
[Broadcom.NTx86.5.1] [Broadcom]
And I have copied the Windows XP and Windows 2000 drivers to the correct place according to article Q246184.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong.
Cheers
Dave
