Rings before AA picks up???

How do I set the rings on a AA with VMPro so it rings either once or not at all and goes right to the AA message. Right now its set to three rings and its too long.

Right now i have incomming call route to a shortcode for the Start Point "#AutoAttend"

Assuming you're using analog lines (you don;t say) perhaps your lines are set for CLID? The caller ID info is sent in the first ring or two.

If you don;t subscribe to caller ID or don't care to have it, disable it on the lines in that incoming call group. Look at the Analog Options tab for that line and choose "Loop Start" instead of "Loop Start ICLID".

Again, this assumes you're using Loop Start lines...

Remove the # from the shortcode.

We found that with mobile calls the first few seconds were getting cut off though without the #
