I have a CS1000 M at 7.6
I have a user who is saying that her phone is only ringing two times before going to voice mail.
The RCO of her set is set to 2 which in the RDR_DATA for us is set to 6 rings.
Below is her TNB

Can anyone see why this may be occurring?
Thanks.

Probably has to do with DRG1 in the CLS. So it is following the DFN1 setting for distinctive ringing.

DRG1 refers to the frequency of the ringing and this is the default setting so I can't see how this would effect the number of rings.

When this person complains about the ringing cycle - is the is person referring to key 0 or key 1? Have you confirmed this yourself, either calling key 0 and listening or watching it happen?

I asked her if it was happening on her key 0 - no - key 0 would ring 6 times (that is what our RCO 2 is set for) but on key 34 - MCR 5418 it only rings twice. So I asked her if someone else was possibly picking it up after the two rings and she is saying no. I have not physically gone to her desk to witness it myself.

Read this, it may me your issue

Call Forward by Call Type, Call Forward No Answer, Second Level
Call redirection parameters like Call Forward No Answer are derived from
the TN data block of the prime appearance of the called MADN. If there is
more than one prime appearance, the parameters are selected from the
last TN in the DN block.
If more than one prime appearance of a MADN exists, the following
information must be considered prior to configuring call redirection
parameters for MADNs.
The DN Block organizes MADN information in numerical TN order.
The TN with the highest numerical value (000-0-06-03) is placed at the
beginning of the list. The list then continues in descending order with the
lowest numerical TN (000-0-03-01) at the end of the list. Service change
activity affects the organization of the DN list as described in the following
paragraphs.
• If a telephone undergoes Service Change, its TN is moved to the
beginning of the DN list, irrespective of the numerical value. This
telephone remains at the beginning of the list until another service
change or a SYSLOAD.
• If a DN appears on analog (500/2500-type) telephones and Meridian
1 proprietary telephones, the analog (500/2500-type) telephones are
listed in numerical TN order at the top of the list. Meridian 1 proprietary
telephones are listed in numerical TN order at the bottom of the list.
its TN to the beginning of the list. A Service Change to a Meridian 1
proprietary telephone moves its TN to the end of the list.
• A SYSLOAD restructures the list back to numerical TN order,
with analog (500/2500-type) telephones at the top and Meridian 1
proprietary telephones at the bottom. Call Redirection parameters
continue to be derived as described in the preceding paragraphs.
A Service Change to an analog (500/2500-type) telephone moves

how many appearances of x5418 are there? If there isn't that many of them, nul the others and test - I'm betting that it's being answered.

I have removed some of the appearances - we will see if that fixes it. Thanks all.

Make a change to the phone where you want it to follow the forwarding, that should fix it. See my original post. If you have multiple appearances it will follow the forwarding of the phone that you last did a service change on.
