Hello All,
I received a request from a medical office to have a "different ring tone" for a dedicated line where staff including physicians can call into to bypass the Auto Attendant and get a staff member.
System:
IP Office 500 v2
30B- Nortel Phones
16B- Nortel Phones
Phone 8- (2)
VCM 32
Legacy Carrier: IP 400 Dual PRI
Phones: Nortel T7316e
I have tried setting the Ring Tone Override in the System and assigning that ring tone to the incoming call route:
Example: Classic Tone 2 Assigned to the "staff line" incoming call route.
The problem is that the ringtone override is not working after making this change, the phones ring the same ring tone as the rest of the incoming calls.
Any ideas on how to make this work? Could it be that the Nortel Phones do not support the ringtone override in the IP Office? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron
