thread937-1702849
I was able to set up a test call group for conferencing. I have followed the previous thread and manuals to do the programing. However, now my SV8300 will not forget my test call group extension numbers when I went to program my real group. I have noticed that checking in Command mode in PC-Pro that the original numbers that were programed from the installers were still there even though I could not see them in the GUI mode. I have since deleted all numbers in Command mode and the GUI. I have tried two new test groups using virtuals and another using just analog extensions. My group no longer rings when my pilot station is set cmd 1269> to 1 (Meet-me). And still my original test group rings. I have even deleted the test extension and reinstalled it and it still rings in the group call. Since I am having so much trouble changing extension numbers in a group I would rather use virtuals forward since my conference groups will change over time.

How do I get a call group to be deleted? Will virtuals fwd ok in a call group?

How have you been trying to delete them? And if the 8300 continues the compatibility with the IPS programming as it does in the main, virtuals are not allowed.

Thank you so much for the response. Your reply got me questioning if i was deleting on the correct commands. I was not. The GUI screen alludes to command 5701 for Group01 stations but looking at the menu closer i found out the command should be 5711. This is why my changes were not showing up between command and GUI. Also I did not realize there are 2 screens in PCPro that are titled "Group Call". I was looking at Cmd5711 instead of the correct Cmd5731 to build my call group. I must had done it by accident the first time i made a group. I was able to program 5731 conference call group as virtuals. I then forwarded the virts to the real extensions. Again thank you for the push in the right direction!
