I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge in this area. I've reviewed some similar posts here and my TDA guides but can't find a suitable answer.
What I simply would like to do is have 10 extensions ring on a single wired extension. The real world example of this is a group of users who each have a unique extension number with voicemail (and no wired phone) but sit at a group table with only one desk phone (T7633, if that matters). I know I can assign the extensions to a DSS key on that desk phone, but the incoming calls don't ring, just blink. If the desk phone is ext 7005 and the users are ext 7010-7019, how can I call any of those users and have it ring at 7005? I don't believe FWD is am option as the user then wouldn't get a voicemail for a no-answer.
I looked at some of the grouping options (ext group, call pickup, ICDG, hunt, etc), but couldn't get grouped extensions to ring at the desk phone, and I'm not sure if the ICDG is the right way. It seems like instead of distributing the call to multiple extensions, I need to do the reverse - consolidate multiple extensions into one. Seems simple, but I'm stuck, probably because I don't understand or am incorrectly interpreting some of the feature's names.
Bonus points if the desk phone would show who the call is for (what extension was dialed, but let's just get it working in its basic form first). Any help is tremendously appreciated, and I thank you in advance.
