Hi all.
I have a ring group that says out of service and immediately goes into don't disturb.
The members will be fine. What causes this and how is this fixed?

Have you got the presence settings of at least one member set to 'present'?

Yes and the members automatically change themselves to absent immediately after turning them to present.

Calls to Hunt, Ring, and Personal Ring groups with all members absent received DND treatment." so that is your problem. What level of software are you on? ACD in use?

No ACD in use.
Release 8.0 PR1. Active Software: 14.0.0.91

You should see something in the logs to indicate the group membership and presence.

The last time i saw this it was because there were acd enabled hotdesking users in the ring groups.

I have battled with this issue and no solution.
Members of ring group become absent for no apparent reason.
Please help.

Are the member of the ring gourp in the same 3300 as the group?

Yes they are in the same 3300.

Members are not ACD enabled nor are they ACD Hotdesk users.

Has anyone experience this issue or willing to do lab simulation on the current release?
I would like to think its software related.
May someone confirm.

It sounds like its config related
you will need to post some specific details about what you have done

ring group config
cos for ring group and members
member config

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Hi all.

I have tried setting up a ring group on a different 3300 of the same release and the ring group went to don't disturb.
Any ideas please help?

Remove the users from the group and delete the group
Then try making a new group etc. If it still fails then remove again and try a different number for the group.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
