Hi All,

We have an issue whereby when users call into a ring group and the call is answered by a member of the ring group the DN displayed in the callee's call history shows the ring group member that answered the call as opposed to the ring group pilot number.

All relevant numbers are programmed in the tel dir and this works as expected on other rings within the business that have the same COS.

Appreciate any suggestions?

regards

Just asking why should it show something different than what happened? What babout the call history for the members of the ring group that didn't answer, I bet it shows missed.

Maybe i wasnt clear. Its the user who is calling the ring group that displays the ring group member who answered their call in their call history.

The call is answered by the ring group first and then distributed to members so it should be this number that is displayed in the call history and not the ring group member?

I don't think you can do anything about this. What is showed in call history are the dialed digits.
Per example, if I call voicemail what is shown is the voicemail hunt group pilot number not the specific voicemail port that answers.

The number dialled for example is the IT helpdesk on 75555 but the number shown in the callers call history is the DN of the ring group member that answered the call.

Oh sorry I didn't read correctly, so it's the other way around for you then! I have no idea why it is different for you. It could be a CoS option on the ring group but the one I have in mind changes what is displayed on the ring group member's phone (group ID or caller ID). Nothing else comes to mind...
