Hello all,

Is there anyway to make a 3904 gym phone ring the overhead speaker system without having to press any button?

gym phone pick up handset - ring PA

I have yet to come across this type of setup.

I'd be checking to see if the connection to the paging really expects a "trunk" or a "station" connection.

The "solid tone" you hear - is that through the speakers or the phone?

the tech tested on site and this is the response.

"no sound over the speakers, long tone on reciever

That tone would be coming from the paging system. Does the paging system require some digits to be dialed?

A test would be simply dialing 8002 from another phone. Does that (still) work?

the paging does not work on any other phones. Could it be because i changed Mano to yes from no? the other changes above i did not make yet.

If it worked from other phones before MANO=YES, then change MANO back to NO. Has the paging ever worked? Are you certain it is hooked up right?

The MANO=YES would not stop the paging from working as far as I know....but if it did not help, it's best to take the "Default" of MANO=NO

Were you able to page from any phone prior to you making any changes and if so, was that by dialing 8002 or some other number?

I will check once the tech comes back online. I would say it did but i can confirm.

as bhassell2000 says...
hot d XX dn

the XX is number of digits...

Okay I changed MANO back to yes.
I am showing the prior to the change for route 2
and after with updating the mano to no again for route 2

Prior to being touched at all.

For Paging I read on here thread below

a person changed on rdb from COT to WAT.

However when I tried it, I was not able to. I think I need to build new one with WAT can RDB be 2 for both or do I have to remove the current one then build the new RDB 2 for the Dial Pause when paging to work?

Thanks!
