Hi,

I've intergrated some Win2k servers into an existing NT4 domain.
I'm trying to share a folder on a win2k server for NT4 domain users.
But this is not working... I've to create a local user, and connect the workstation to this one. Then it works. But if I stay with the authenticated NT4 domain user, no rights are available on the shared folder.
Note : for the test I put "Everyone" with full access on the shared folder.

Any Idea?
I notice that my workstation is running XP pro and I can access it without problem... And I think other win2k workstations can, but not NT4 workstations...

Thanks for your help,

Regards,

Stéphane

Hi.

Remember that your Windows NT 4.0 have to use Service Pack 4.0 or later.

Please check to make sure if there is any conflict of permission between shared permission/file system permissions as in such cases the most restrictive permission will apply.
