Hi all

we have customer that want to add ERS4500 switch to another standalone one so it become full..this switch is already connected through fiber to the backbone 5000 series.

Now he want to connect this two switches as stack..

Please can you describe me a brief steps to follow??

Thanks

Best regards

Power down all switches to be stacked. Set the base dipswitch to base on the switch you want to be the base unit. Connect your stacking cables. Power up the switches. They should come up in stack mode.

GO into the config and set the stack IP address and then set the individual switch IP addresses in case the stacking fails at some point.
