Right hand 80% is gone from Align palette

Starting yesterday the "align" palette and the "text wrap" palette has lost the right hand 80% is gone, and I can't expand the palette. and can't access the things I need to.

Best usual course of action is to trash your Preferences. This returns the set-up to how it was 'out of the box'.

You don't say what version of ID you are using, nor what OS, but if you look in the Help files of ID, it will tell you - try entering 'restoring preferences' or even just 'preferences. In my version of ID (V2) on a Windows computer, it would be done as follows:

To restore all preferences and default settings for Windows:

Choose Start > Search > For Files or Folders.
Select Tools > Folder Options.
Select the View tab in the Folder Options dialog box.
Select Show hidden files and folders in the Advanced Settings list, and click OK.
Locate the InDesign Version 2.0 folder.
Select the InDesign Defaults file, and rename or delete it. Repeat this step for the InDesign Saved Data file.

thank you -- it worked. I'm on OS X 10.3 on a Mac. searched, found the info and followed the instructions. all palettes now at 100% and looking good.
