Hi
Myself and a few others at my office are experiencing this problem.
If we got to start menu and right click on a folder.
We can sort by name etc all ok.
If we hover over the folder to see the contents of that folder (still in start menu) and right click anything the system freezes for about 30 - 60 secs, and nothing can be done.
The only way out of this is to Task manager and kill explorer and restart explorer.

Any ideas anyone ?
We are all stumped by this

thanks

Are you on a domain?
what rights do you have ie are you an admin or a power user or normal user?

If its on a domain, then it could be conflicting group policies causeing the freeze, which would be down to whoever admins the site. But thats just a guess, as you might not have any set.
