right click properties in explorer stopped working

hi all,

i think this happened after i installed service pack 1 - when i right click on a folder in explorer and select properties, nothing happens. it works for "my computer", "my network places" etc but not for my hard drives or any of the folders on them.

anyone ever had this? the worst thing is i wanted to try and check for errors on my harddisks, but i can't find any other way to get at the error checker other than through this properties screen

you may access error checking by using Windows Explorer, high-lighting desired disk, Choosing FILE (from the Menu Bar) and selecting Properties.

Hope you can solve the r-click issue. -md

thanx maddogtech - i've fixed the problem now, hooray! i realised that there were some other (more serious problems as well, like IIS not working anymore, some network problems etc.

think it was probably quite specific to my pc, but this is what i had to do:
1. uninstall sp1
2. uninstall IIS
3. upgrade to latest copy of zonealarm
4. reinstall sp1
5. reinstall IIS

and it all works now!
