I have a problem. I recently lost my right-clicking function in Excel cell. I do not know what happened, but I have tried to reinstall excel to no avail.
Certain addins disable this feature, I think. Like ESSBASE.
Open Excel and go to Tools-Addins and see if you have any checked. If you do, uncheck, relaunch and see if that helps. Otherwise, I'll give you the registry fix. Anne Troy

Close Excel.
Start-->Run
Type: regedit
Hit Enter.
Browse to: hkey_current_users\software\microsoft\office\8.0\Excel
8.0 is Office 97
9.0 is Office 2000
10.0 is Office XP
Use the appropriate number.
Right-click the Excel folder, hit Rename. Change it to OldExcel (this backs it up for you).
Relaunch Excel. You may be asked for the installation disk.
If that does NOT work, we'll need to walk you through some appropriate reinstall steps. Anne Troy
