We have a few systems that were updated from RHEL 5.7 to 5.8. The client is not happy with that - they are insisting that the systems HAVE to be 5.7. With that being said - is there a way to roll the system back to 5.7? I know I can take the list of packages updated and re-install the 5.7 versions, but that list is about 200+ items long... the amount of effort needed for that makes a reinstall look like a better choice. I would, however, like to avoid a reinstall if there is a better way.
So... is there a better way?
