Hi,

Can somebody please inform me the command that will mount a iomega parallel zip 100 drive????

Thanks,

Carl.

Try this:
Create a directory to mount the zip.
mkdir /mnt/zip

Then mount zip device.
mount -t vfat /dev/[device] /mnt/zip

Replace [device] with the device name - could be sda1.

-jeepdc

Hello;

with your zip drive plugged in ,

su then type "modprobe ppa"

To unload simply type "modprobe -r ppa"

hope this helps

Forgot !

you will need a /mnt/zip directory along w/ a fstab listing

/dev/sda4 /mnt/zip vfat user,noauto,rw 1 1

Should work fine (don't forget to mkdir /mnt/zip)
