I want to write a Rexx to do a Cobol compile (using a Panel, with compile options), but use the source from the same Librarian edit session. Librarian Master is not a PDS, so do I have to write a Cobol interface to Librarian for the extract? This is my first experience with Librarian - all my experience has been with Endevor. Are there any sites with shareware/API's to Librarian?
Thanx in advance...

Have you checked the User Contributed Routines section in the Librarian manuals?

I've looked in the manuals for API's - nothing to suit my purpose - has hooks for migrations etc.

Our compile JCL invokes PGM=LIBRPROG to retrieve source code. It must come with CA-Librarian.

hth,

I have a REXX program that creates and submits JCL to do the compile; contact me to have it Emailed.

Most importantantly to get files out of ELIPS Librarian is to have SUBSYS=LAM on the DD statements.
