Do you have any rexx code to determine today is the first THURSDAY of the month ?

For reasons which are not at all clear, you can't get there from here. Cut the link, start a fresh browser, paste it there and all will be OK.

So, having said that, I went and double-clicked the link in your last message and got "Not Authorized". Expected. Pulled up a fresh browser and tried again and got... Not Authorized! Pulled the html, looked at what was on the website, everything looks OK. Retried, retried... Had two others look over my shoulder; nobody sees anything wrong, then (without any changes) voila! Suddenly it's working... not from here; from the fresh browser.

But I got a few "NA"s on a fresh browser after trying the link from Tek-Tips, so it may be connected to crap in the cache.

You should be able to tell if it's the first Thursday like this;

if Date('W') = 'Thursday' & word(Date(), 1) < 8 then ...
