A few recommendations. First, It probably looks fine at 1024 x 768 resolution, but at 800 x 600 about an inch of the paeg is off the right side of the screen requiring scrolling. I try to design my pages to be tabled at a max of 750 pixels, or else use percents for width so they resize. With the latter, some layouts can distort though, so be sure you test your pages at both resolutions.

Secondly, you might want to use a mouseover on your menu buttons. and make them seperate buttons instead of an image map. Image maps are larger images, so they're slower to load, and they prevent you from doing mouseovers and the like. Make identical buttons to the existing ones, but with white text, and have it change to the white version on mouseover. There's tons of mouseover scripts out there, and there's ways to table and use <div> tags with your images properly to still have it layout like your image map currently does. Hope this helps!

On a fairly good 56 kb modem connection, 2 min 34 sec for the homepage to load.

1) what BH said about your menu. Imagemaps are heavy and making seperate images could make your site load faster.

2) secondly this is just my opinion but animate gifs like you have on your homepage are passe and IMO outdated and tacky.

3) Your background is dark and so is your text, generally you should have contrasting colors for your text compared to your background. I like the background color so maybe a grey #C3C3C3 or #CCCCCC for text should help the text be easier to read.

4) Same thing for your title Purple on Blue doesn't sit well in my book

5) I dont see why you have the welcome text on every page. Maybe just the homepage (welocome page as i like to call it sometimes)

6)Generally when i build a site i always like having a site map as a footer so if someone were to scroll to the bottom they have an index of pages they can go to rather than scrolling back up.

7) Make your pages lighter. In other words optimize your graphics!

8) The site looks good for a first time project and the layout is simple and works well with what you are doing. Like BH said on 800x600 resolution your site is cut off on the right. IMO not a big deal as I have pretty much ruled that resolution out of date unless a client really want to design for that resolution.

***Slight problem tho when you ask for a site review -- People tend to review based on their likes and preferences but if the site works for you the only real gripe i would have is the heavy load time for your graphics -- Optimize, OPTimize, OPTIMIze, OPTIMIZE!

Hope this helps -- if it doesn't well#@!$@#% :/
