Reverts to snapshot when rebooting

I am a new user of Workstation 6, coming from 4.5.2

I have created 2 VM's, one for XP SP1 and the other for XP SP2. I have the same issues for both VM's, when I reboot a VM after making some changes (e.g. installing s/w), the VM will revert back to the original snapshot.

I have checked the VM settings|Snapshot Replay tab|When powering off radiio button and it is set to 'Just power off'.

I didn't have this issue with Workstation 4.5.2.
Anybody any ideas.

Make sure the disk is not "Independent Non-Persistent

Thanks for the response.

I am using the default disk settings when creating a new guest, which does not enable the disks in independant mode.
