I'm using Premiere 6.0. How can I reverse the direction a clip plays (so it plays backwards)?

Thanks.

I figured it out. Right-click on the clip in the timeline, then select Speed... and enter a negative value (-100%).

Hmm. When I export the video, the quality of the reversed clip is poor. It might still work for some applications, but not for me this time. :)

Reversed video will in most cases look better if you deinterlace the video. Without deinterlacing you're left with a jerky playback(if you know how interlaced fields work then this makes some easy sense).

Right-click the clip you've reversed, select Video Options->Field Options... then select "Always Deinterlace"(and I believe "Flicker Removal" works in this case as well).

Give it a try and enjoy! -Trevor
