Reverse video everything?

Hello,

This may sound a bit strange, but I am trying to reverse the video of everything on the monitor. Or at least reverse the video of my application.

I had hoped there would be a display setting or monitor setting where I could just reverse the video. Setting color properties in code is not feasible, since it would take a great deal of additional code and still not reverse things like icons, images, borders, title bar, etc.

Any way to just invert/reverse all video?

Do you mean invert the colors?

I would guess using a screen capture, then bitblting that image back to the screen with a different opperator would do it. But it will also reverse your icons.

Yes, inverting the colors.

I have considered capturing a screenshot and inverting the resulting bitmap. I had hoped the application itself could be inverted so a user could still use it rather than having an image of the application displayed. But this may be my only option.

Unless there is some VGA wiring trick.
