Friday we moved 20 D.I.D's back from our remote site that were CDP'd. Today people were complaining that they could not reach the numbers from the outside. I outed them in load 87 in the remote site. And i simply added them at the main site on key 0.

I am thinking more info is needed, however:

1: Look into the IDC tables for a conversion that is no longer needed

2: Look at the CLS of your new extensions for a parameter RDI... should be UDI

if they had been cdp'ed from the main site, you would have to out the dsc prior to adding them to any key.. otherwise you try to add key 0 scr 1234, you have a conflict since 1234 is a dsc pointed to the remote..

do you just have the two sites, try adding them as a cdp at the remote..

stands to reason, if they worked at the remote, the they are being sent to that box.. either via another site or your provider

Yes..i outed dsc prior to adding them to key 0

What John is saying is that the numbers probably go to the remote site on lines/circuits going into that site only. By removing the CDP at the remote site, they are now stuck at the remote site and cannot traverse the link to the main site. If you want them to work at the main site, you will have to either put the CDP back in at the remote site, or get the telco to move them to the main site, if that is possible.
