Returned Mail from CDONTS

Does anyone know where returned mail sent by CDONTS goes to?

CDONTS doesn't actually "send" mail. It dispatches it to the running SMTP server. Whatever the SMTP server is configured to do with mail it cannot deliver on behalf of the relevent user is where it goes. CDONTS does not communicate with these processes.

returned mail will go to the email address that was placed into the "from" field when the original mail was sent. Won't it? am i missing something?
