Outlook 2002 SP2 is the client. Exchange 2000 is the mail server. The user never sent a message but receives message from "system administrator" stating mail cannot be sent to the address in question.
 
This is probably a spam email with a generated false email header. Most spam email will change out their "from" fields in the email to another one (spoofing), so that it will not be blocked by spam filters. This type of spoofing has been going on a long time and there is really nothing that can be done.

The only thing you could possibly do is find out who was the original email server that sent the email and find the ISP hosting it. You could complain to the ISP and see if they will shutdown that service for that person. Norman Moy
