Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve deleted voicemails from Modular Messaging? I have users asking to retrieve messages that they have deleted.

Thanks,
Rick

1a2 to ip I seen it all

You can probably set up your system to handle voicemails like e-mails. Look into installing MM Thick Client. It works with Outlook. Once installed a user can delete a message and retrieve it from a deleted messages folder. You might also want to check into Unified Messaging. There is some good information to be found there for people who are unfamiliar with their system and in the process of learning.

Hope this helps you Rick,

Rick

Thanks Rick4610, I am in the process of learning and I appreciate you patients with my ignorance of my new system. I didn't think that a deleted voicemail could be retrieved but it was worth asking.

Thanks,
Rick

I haven't replied to this because I am not up on the MM but I am not sure I like the others replies. I am still on the older Intuity setup. I do know that on the older systems tier 3 can go in and retrieve your messages but it is very very pricey. Surely not worth the price or effort.

And there is no need to apologize for not knowing your system. We ALL have been there. Feel free to post anytime you need some help. I would suggest doing a search at the top of the page for help also. You can find a lot of post that are similar to this that could help you find answers.

Thanks for the info Mike. I felt that the other responses were unnecessary. It's my understanding that this forum is to aid each other in information and problem solving only.

I have found some information through the Avaya web site but I will take your advise and do a help search also.

Thanks,
Rick

Glad I could help Rick. That question gets asked a lot here, which is why the remarks I am sure. They should have pointed you to the search though. Anyways welcome to the site.
