Retreiving CDR from OTM for DNs

Hi,

Can someone please explain how to pull CDR records for a months period for a specific DN from an OTM? All calls are needed (Outbound, internal and Inbound if possible).

...correction... only calls initiated at a DN are needed: outbound internal and outbound to PSTN... OTM Navigator release 2.2 / Option 81c
 
found a 2 line instruciton cut sheet and i was able to navigate to the Telecom Billing System menu and initiated a collection... however in the status window, a CRITICAL log entry with a MESSAGE: THE SL1OLD script only runs FILE collection in Batch mode... clicked on the DATA window and nothing showed up... am i missing something?

 
First, make sure the station you want the info on has ICDA in the CLS, if not, you're done.

If ICDA is there, then you can verify you are collecting CDR records by going into Telecom Billing System, top of the TBS window, click on EDIT and go down to Call Database. If you have no records, you're not collecting, you're done.

Sorry, but when it comes to actually running the reports or setting up CDR in OTM, I'll have to defer to someone else.
 
all three DNs have ICDD in the CLS, but no ICDA - is there a work around... thank you!
 
The CDR entries are available by viewing through the above mentioned steps:

Telecom Billing System -> EDIT -> Call Database ...

No how can I extract these records to a file in order to pull the requested ones?

you can change the cls to ICDA for those phones, then you'll start getting CDR records for those extensions. As it is, you can't pull any records for those extension, going forward you will.
 
even though the ICDA is not in the CLS, the OTM database does have entries for the DNs in question - is it possible that the ICDD works for this ??
 
Maybe I jumped the gun a bit - ICDA is for internal CDR record - extension to extension, not what you want... correct? If correct then what you have will work, unfortunately, I don't do reporting. I believe one of the options under the file menu is reports.
 
i managed to navigate to the report generating menu, but can't get any filters to work so all reports come back empty although the CDR database is full (over 25,000 entries) -- thank you for your help!!! maybe/hopefully someone with CDR report knowledge can chime in
 
sorry to re-post... so the report generator is not generating reports correctly... the OTM's CDR database is current and you can see the CDR entries using the CDR 'viewer' in the OTM, but all attempts to generate a report w/ or w/out filters ends up with nothing. Can someone please provide input on how to rectify issue - need to run 1 month reports for 3 distinct DN's (outbound calls only) Thank you!!!!
