Retaining Public Folders Permissions

Accidently under the Public folders security tab permissions were removed in order to apply permissions correctly but after doing so the whole public folders tree dissapeared, please can some one tell how to retain the permissions to public folders tree though I can not see it,do no what to do?

Ok I have resolved the problem with ADSI Utility.
but still don't know how to make public folders in exchange system manager visible always get a message *operation is forbidden*
