Resubmit job on fails no longer working after SP1 install

I have end user jobs that run once a week (5 in total, 1 or for each day mon-fri) each job contains around 15 end user pc's. The Job itself is running fine executing when I want and such the only problem is BEFORE I installed r12 sp1 any failed backups (say 3 nodes out of the 15) would be auto submitted in a makeup job for the following night. This no longer occurs, the nodes fail and no makeup jobs are submitted. My every day backups (Servers) still submit a makeup job if a node fails. What could have possibly changed? I have verified that the submit backup job is checked off, and I’m not sure where else to look.

Check Global Options, Operation, Retry Missed Targets.

Have that checked off. set to retry job in 1100 minutes (next night)
