Restrictions Override

How do we override restictions on an IP phone?

Tried setting password against CoS and enabled feature 872 which prompts for a password but does nothing after enter 6 digit password and Enter.

Use feature 68, not 872. F872 is for activating restriction schedules, not overriding restrictions.

When I press Feature and enter 68 nothing happens, and a few seconds later Feature Timeout appears.

Just enter the password, you will see nothing on the display. Once the password is entered, the time and date should return after the password is entered. There is no indication of a correct password, invalid passwords will tell you invalid. Once the password is entered, the next call will be unrestricted.
