Restrictions on Size.

Folks,
I am having a problem sending emails over a certain size using Exchange2000. I have set no limit on the account but am still recieve the following

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Presentation part 1
Sent: 05/09/2003 10:32

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

************ (E-mail) on 05/09/2003 10:32
This message is larger than the current system limit or the recipient's mailbox is full. Create a shorter message body or remove attachments and try sending it again.
<winsrv1.*******.ie #5.2.3 smtp;450 5.2.3 Msg Size greater than allowed by Remote Host>


Any ideas???

Says it all. It is not on your side but a limit imposed by the receiving server.
 
That is correct Steve, but ONLY if the System admin error comes from the receiving server. If it is your own server replying that immediately, the problem is on your server side.

Thanks guys. It was the virtual smtp server limite on our AV server that was stopping the mail.
