is a private line (programmed as a PVR key, a true private line as opposed to a DID) subject to the same NCOS/TGAR restrictions as all the other DNs on the phone when making outbound calls? many thanks.
yes, after you dial "9" bars takes over and applies frl limits, you can hot d 4 a pvr to the route acod and just use it to dial outbound, that will bypass the need to dial 9 on that line, you can't use it for internal, it becomes a "true" outside line. you can call it internal but you can't 4 digit to internal..
If you have the PVR programed on the key as you stated, when you go off hook of the PVR key you will get dial tone from the Network on the private line - not from the pbx -
yes, and it will bypass the need to dial 9 and thereby bypass bars.. i have had a request for this service were a owner wanted a pvr for his fam. and didn't want to dial 9 when he call out on his personal line. all other calls came from through a pa who also dialed his business calls for him.
