Restrictions on 3300 CXI

I am unable to restrict extensions (local,LD,Internal) from 5540 ip console.

There is no PMS. MCD PMS/Hospitality License enabled.

What else needs to be set for the option to restrict room phones?

you could try interconnect restriction
that way the console could call rooms but not vice-versa
give the console a interconnect of 2 and leave all the room phones on 1

in the interconnect restriction table add 2 to 1

You need to enable the hotel features in the Hotel Options form

You need to enable the COS option for Hotel Room Extension against the sets.

if this is MCD 4.0 or above then the COS options no longer exist. There is a new form 'guest room assignment' any room which you want to be able to bar/unbar via a guest service key on 5540 will need to be entered into this form. You will also need to set the COR detail for checkin/out in hotel options assignment.

Thanks bocheese, I haven't done a hotel on a 3300 in a while but now that you mention it, I do remember something about that guestroom form.
