Hi what is equivalent to TGAR/NCOS/COS (UNR/TLD)in Avaya ?? i mean we use TGAR to control Route access/ NCOS for dialing string/COS(TLD/UNR) to allow class whether it should check NCOS or not.
Can some body briefly explain which term we use in avaya
1- To access trunk group or different trunk groups
2- What is use to check dialing string restrictions
3- what is use to check COS (TLD/UNR=what is equivalent in
avaya?)

Or can somebody point a specific document on these terms only?

Thanks

1- To access trunk group or different trunk groups - COR
2- What is use to check dialing string restrictions ARS
3- what is use to check COS (TLD/UNR=what is equivalent in
avaya?) COS

Thanks,

Thanks PAL for help.So these will be check same as in Nortel case? i mean first COS will be check then COR and then ARS???
In route programming like in nortel we can also control dialing restriction through FRL and it follows route FRL no matter what NCOS is set at extension, In avaya route programming where we set this?

Similar, the FRL is also set in the route-pattern along with the COR for the extension. If the COR's FRL is lower than the FRL on the route pattern, the call will not go through...

For example - this is how we restrict calls to the US only. Assign this COR to an extension.

Code:
display cor 5 Page 1 of 23
                              CLASS OF RESTRICTION

               COR Number: 5
          COR Description: DOMESTIC USA-911

                      [b][COLOR=red]FRL: 5                                [/color][/b]APLT? y
Can Be Service Observed? n Calling Party Restriction: none
Can Be A Service Observer? n

Check the ARS entry for international 011

Code:
display ars analysis 011 Page 1 of 2
                             ARS DIGIT ANALYSIS TABLE
                                   Location: 1 Percent Full: 23

Dialed Total [COLOR=red][b]Route[/b][/color] Call Node ANI
String Min Max [COLOR=red][b]Pattern[/b][/color] Type Num Reqd
    011 10 18 [COLOR=red][b]5[/b][/color] intl n

Then look at the route pattern, you'll notice the FRL is lower than the FRL in the COR - therfore the call is blocked.

Code:
display route-pattern 5 Page 1 of 3
                    Pattern Number: 5 Pattern Name:
                             SCCAN? n Secure SIP? n
Grp [COLOR=red][b]FRL[/b][/color] NPA Pfx Hop Toll No. Inserted DCS/ IXC
No Mrk Lmt List Del Digits QSIG
                             Dgts Intw
 1: 1 [COLOR=red][b]6[/b][/color] 200 0 n user
 2: 2 [COLOR=red][b]6[/b][/color] 200 1 n user

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
