I am trying to restrict Lond Distance on a set. I am using filter 01.
How do I set this up properly and how do I over ride it with the F68 COS password.
I do the f68 and enter the password it still restricts the call.

On a MICS 7.1 to restict using filter 01.
How to over ride the restriction using COS password.

under passwords you enter the password you want to use. use 123456 for cos01 for now, the userfilter and linefilter should be set to none.

it sounds like you have the restrictions set for the phone already so go to the phone and dial f68123456 (the display should go back to the date/time)then pick up the phne and dial 171522390901 (an unassigned number that I use to test LD Dialing)

good luck

I did exactly that and it takes the F68123456 the date and time come back up but I still cannot dial LD
Any ideas? How does the cos password get assigned to the set or to the specific filter if we have removed it from user filter: set to none?

Any help would be appreciated.

I ran into this yesterday... Set filter to '00' rather than to 'none'. F68, enter p/w, display comes back, dial #.

Gold thanks gforce9....works exactly right. Love this forum.
