Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to restrict the maximum number of attributes the user can select from a particular filter ?

There is a filter which lists down about 200 odd attributes. But, the users should be allowed to select , say only a maximum of 10 of those..

Please let me know if there is a way.

Thanks

My guess would be modify the Jscript on the interface - it will look at how many in the cart and flag an error and send the page back. Someone who knows how to customize Web would be able to help you on this. This also make a very good enhancement request.

Actually, I found a way to do this..
Define a Attribute prompt
Click on Default Prompt Answers check box.
This takes you to a screen where we can set default prompt answers and also the Minimum and Maximum number of elements.

Now if you use this Prompt in the report, it will allow only the maximum number that was specified.
